Welcome to RUF at Tennessee Tech!
Regardless of your beliefs or doubts, RUF is a place for you to explore Christianity and grow in your understanding of who Jesus is and what it means to follow him in community with others at Tennessee Tech University.RUF meets on Monday nights at 8:00 PM in room 370 on the 3rd floor of the UC for our large group meeting, and we offer numerous small groups that meet throughout the week for building relationships, studying the Bible or a relevant book, and praying together. We also host social events and service opportunities throughout the year, so keep and eye on the calendar to know what is happening.

Large Group this Semester: Who is the REAL Jesus?
Have you ever been struck by the fact that in the gospels, Jesus tended to elicit one of two responses; (1) love or (2) hate. Why is that? And why don't we respond the same way? I would suggest to you that at least ONE reason is that we all tend to try to domesticate Jesus, making Him into whatever we'd like. But if that's the case, we aren't really encountering the REAL Jesus.So ... this semester we are going to work our way through the gospel of Luke, and we are going to ask the question, "Who is the REAL Jesus?"
I'll warn you ... He will upset you. He will challenge you. He will contradict you. He will tell you "No." And you won't like it. But at the same time, it is my hope and pray that as you see Jesus for who He really is, you will see Jesus for who He is, beautiful, delightful, glorious, and as a result, you will fall deeply in love with the One who is the true Lover of your soul.
RUF meets on Monday evenings in room 370 on the 3rd floor of the UC, beginning at 8:00 PM.
